Linda Bostrom   lbon@iyoga.com
has been a student of Iyengar yoga since 1979 and has been teaching since 1985. She has studied in India with the Iyengars and received her Iyengar certification in 1988. She is co-director of Iyengar Yoga South Bay.


John Hayden     
is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor (Intermediate Jr. II) and has been teaching Yoga in Northern California since 1998. John completed the 2 year Advanced Studies/Teacher Training Program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco in 2003. Since 2004 John has served on the Board of Directors of The Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California, he currently serves as Board President. John teaches Yoga Philosophy (Yoga Sutras) in the Advanced Studies/Teacher Training Program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. The study of yoga philosophy plays an important role in John’s practice and teaching.

John continues to study with the Iyengar family in Pune India and with Senior Certified Iyengar Yoga Teachers throughout the US.

first studied Iyengar Yoga between 1976-1980. After a break of many years, she came to Iyengar Yoga South Bay in 1995, studying primarily with Linda Bostrom. She has been teaching yoga since 2000. Liz passed her Introductory I Assessment in 2013. She is currently studying and mentoring with certified Iyengar teachers to prepare for her Intro II assessment in 2014 to be a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.

has been a student of Iyengar Yoga since the late 90's and started teaching in 2005. She was a student at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles from 1998 to 2012 (when she moved to the Bay Area). She is a graduate of their Teacher Training Program and was Introductory II certified in 2010. She attended the Iyengar Yoga National Conventions in 2001 and 2005. She has also served on the Board of the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California. She continues her studies with her senior teacher Manouso Manos.


Kim Scott   kims72536@yahoo.com
is a recent graduate of the Teacher Training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute at San Francisco. She has been studying yoga at Iyengar Yoga South Bay for more than 10 years. She would like to make the benefits of yoga accessible to new students. Kim passed her Introductory I assessment in 2013. She will continue to study and be mentored by certified Iyengar teachers in preparation for her Introductory II assessment to be a certified Iyengar yoga teacher.

has been a practitioner of Iyengar yoga since the mid 70s and an instructor since 1984. She has studied with the Iyengars in India several times as well as in the US at various conventions. She became a certified Iyengar teacher in 1988. In addition to teaching at Iyengar Yoga South Bay she has been an instructor in the Teacher Training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco since 1992. She is a co-director of Iyengar Yoga South Bay.
